Hysterical! Poor Tyler. He did look good, though. Have you ever considered going as Dorothy? Tyler would make a great Toto (no itchy costume required - for him, anyway).
Thanks for the nice comments on my blog. I know what you mean about sludging through the paperwork. I am still in the midst of my new homestudy also but definitely on the finishing end--my social worker says we should finish with the next meeting which is next week. Then it all has to be reviewed and approved and then I officially get on the wait list for Russia. Whew!--Then once you know your region in Russia, each region requires its own paperwork so another big round of that before you can travel. As you said, vigilence but sometimes it is wearing--My gosh, don't they know we'd be good mothers by now??? Happy Holidays to you.
I AM THE CHILD
I am the child,
All the world waits for my coming,
All the earth watches with interest to see what I shall become.
Civilization hangs in the balance,
For what I am, the world of tomorrow will be.
I am the child,
I have come into your world,
About which I know nothing,
Why I came I know not;
How I came I know not;
I am curious;
I am interested.
I am the child,
You hold in your hand my destiny,
You determine, largely, whether I shall succeed or fail.
Give me, I pray you,
Those things that make for happiness.
Train me, I beg you,
That I may be a blessing to the world.
